BMW 2kWh EV Battery Module - 29.6v (30v)

BMW PHEV Battery Module Rated at 2kWh

These modules are rated for 2kWh, arranged in a 8S format giving a nominal voltage of 29.6v (i.e at 50% charge).

They are a nice compact size with high capacity and lightweight, for a standard 96s EV battery it gives 24kWh weighing only 144kg. Also great for other EV and battery storage applications. Originally found in BMW X5 45E Cars.

They don’t include the original BMW BMS CSC Slave Boards (Cell supervision Circuit) which can be used with CANBUS based BMS’s (Such as SIMP BMS) to manage the cells. We can supply the BMS boards for £30 each.
The cell taps are also accessible using a standard GPIO Ribbon cable to manage the cells without use of the CSC Boards. (Using a standard cell tap BMS)
